What is ACTRI F?
ACTRI F is an innovative suspension plate that allows more skiing fun on icy and hard snow slopes because 40% of the impact load is absorbed.
The future of skiing sport
Once one has experienced the comfort of the suspension one will never want to go back.
Before
Up till now, the ski-binding element was technically completely passive. It was up to the skier to influence the grip of the edge depending on his skiing skills. With ACTRI F
With ACTRI F the skier experiences a support of the former passive technology. When carving, due to the centrifugal force and the therefore introduced deflection, the outer ski is forced outwards in a steeper angle (direction change) and elevates the force on the edge. Thanks to the ACTRI F, edge grip is available when needed.

Before
Jolts and bumps are a strain for the body joints and can cause damage. This encourages the development of arthrosis. If arthrosis is already present, the symptoms are triggered by jolts which cause acute pain. Many people therefore stop skiing. With ACTRI F
The suspension transfers hard, low frequency jolts with big amplitudes to soft, high frequency bumps with small amplitudes. Due to latest examinations, this introduces a therapeutical effect and even has a positive effect on the resilience of the joints. Due to this, strength-saving and joint-protecting skiing is guaranteed.

Before
The average skier has a problem with a fast and competitive ski and encounter problems controlling them on the slope. The ski easily loses track and a fall or even injuries are possible. Beginners and most average skiers are offered a softer ski with less sharp edges. But this is disadvantage on icy and hard slopes, because in these cases, a sharp edge is the only way to keep the ski under control. With ACTRI F
ACTRI F prevents the unintentional tilting of the ski. Thanks to this, even an average skier can use a demanding ski with sharp edges. Up till now, the ski forced the skier to a certain style. With ACTRI F you can determine whether you cruise relaxed or carve in a sporty manner yourself.

Acceleration test results
The relationship between the areas under the acceleration curve at the base of the ski boot in relation to the ski explains the transmission of impulses from the snow via the ski to the skier. It is clear; the suspension plate reduces the transmission between 29% and 41% compared to conventional ski bindings. In the graphic the inner ski is on the left and the outer ski on the right.
Avoidance of negative bending effects
A conventional ski has a binding plate directly under the boot binding. This reinforces the ski in the middle section. When carving, the ski bends corresponding to its side cut. During this bending, a larger bending radius results due to the binding plate in the middle of the ski. The tip of the ski and its end show a smaller bending radius. Therefore, a curve cannot be conducted without a braking effect. A bending test in the Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research SLF in Davos proved that the negative effect of the binding plate (refer to the black bending line) is avoided by the ACTRIF (refer to the petrol coloured bending line).
Measurements on a hard snow surface
On hard snow surfaces, a clear force reduction can be observed thanks to the suspension.
